The Scholarship Endowment Fund

of The Tuckahoe Woman's Club


Through our Scholarship Endowment Fund, The Tuckahoe Woman’s Club gives multiple scholarships each spring to qualifying seniors in the Chesterfield, Henrico, and Richmond Public Schools. To qualify, students must demonstrate outstanding academic work, financial need, and strong participation in school activities and community service. Applications are available online on this website (click link below). The application process runs from January 5 - February 25 each year. Our scholarship recipients are notified the last week of March and are introduced to our membership at a Wednesday program towards the end of April. 


Applications and all required components are due to The Tuckahoe Woman’s Club no later than February 25, 2027.

TOTAL ANNUAL FAMILY INCOME (NOT INCLUDING STUDENT INCOME) MAY NOT EXCEED $100,000.

Who is Eligible:

The Scholarship Endowment Fund of The Tuckahoe Woman's Club is pleased to offer multiple scholarships to high school seniors each year. In 2025, four $4,000 scholarships were awarded. To be considered, a student must reside and attend a high school in Chesterfield, Henrico or Richmond City Public Schools. The scholarships will be awarded to area high school seniors as a one-time grant for undergraduate college work and will be paid directly to the college.



An eligible student must be a U.S. citizen who demonstrates:


  • Outstanding academic work (minimum GPA 3.5 or the equivalent)
  • Financial need—total annual family income (not including student income) may not exceed $100,000
  • Strong participation in school activities and community service

The recipients of the scholarships will be notified by the end of March.

Complete the online application and attach the following:


  • Student Aid Index Submission Summary (formerly FAFSA)
  • Official transcript including first semester senior year grades and class rank
  • Personal Essay
  • Letter of Recommendation


The 2027 Application will be available in January 2027. The application must be submitted online by February 25, 2027. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.


ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS MUST BE INCLUDED AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION.

Matching Gift
For donors working for companies which provide matching funds, the donor must request that matching funds be submitted directly to TTWC. Follow the procedures established by your company. Please notify us by emailing the details to twc-finance@thetuckahoe.org. Details to 
include are the donor, the donor address, the amount of the donation and the company providing the company match.

Donor-Advised Funds
For donations from a donor-advised fund, follow the procedures 
established by your brokerage firm or investment company. Please notify us by emailing the details to twc-finance@thetuckahoe.org. The details should include the donor, the donor address, the amount of the donation and which investment company is processing the donation.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)
For Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA), follow the procedures established by your brokerage firm or investment company. Please notify us by emailing the details to twc-finance@thetuckahoe.org. The details should include the donor, the donor address, the amount of the donation and which investment company is processing the donation.

Planned Giving
Planned giving gifts includes bequests, gift annuities, as a beneficiary of life insurance policies or individual retirement accounts. For purposes of recognition, the donor must state in writing that she has included TTWC in her estate plans.

Stocks, Securities, Mutual Funds, Etc.
For any type of gift such as marketable securities, mutual funds and exchange traded funds, other than those described above, please fill out the available form (see link below). We need your donor information to properly process and acknowledge your gift. Once we receive your form (email to twc-finance@thetuckahoe.org), we will reach out to you with the necessary information you will need to initiate the transaction with your brokerage firm or investment company. Gifts are received through our investment company, Merrill Lynch. For questions regarding initiating these types of gifts to TTWC, or if you plan to donate individual bonds, please contact our Merrill Lynch Investment advisor:
